After examining the financial bid, the rate of M/S C.K.Prusty & Associates of Netaji Subhas Villa, 18, Karunamoyee Ghat Road , Flat 3C, 3rd Floor, Kolkata 700082 was found lowest and accepted by the competent authority.

It is notified that since single tender was received in respect of tender notice no : 1866/5-3(9)/ WBFBCP/14 dated 10.11.2014, the said tender notice has been cancelled by the competent authority.

The West Bengal Forest and Biodiversity Conservation Society, a registered society constituted under the aegis of Government of West Bengal, has launched the West Bengal Forest and Biodiversity Conservation Project in 2012-13. This is a JICA assisted project under reimbursable cost mode, being implemented throughout the State over a period of eight years. The Society, is implementing the project activities through Project Management Unit (PMU), which has Divisional Management Units (DMUs) and Field Management Units (FMUs) located in the districts under its management. The major activities include Afforestation and Allied Activities, Biodiversity Conservation, Community Development, Infrastructure Development and Capacity Development.

The Society intends to institute Statutory Audit of the accounts for the Financial Year 2013-2014. The statutory audit will have to be undertaken for the PMU, DMU and FMU levels in comprehensive manner. The Disbursement of Grants Received during the year was to the tune of Rs. 8.00 crores as a whole.
Therefore, quotations are invited from eligible Chartered Accountant firms for offer of rates for the job.
